Silent Theatre interview at NYC Fringe Fest

Silent Theatre Bus

Silent Theatre Bus

While searching for some reviews of my friends from Silent Theatre I found this awesome impromptu interview that they got to participate in. It took place on the bus that I’ve talked about. The interview is conducted by Charlie and Jeff LaGreca, hosts of FringeCLUB’s Variety Power Hour at the 2008 New York International Fringe Festival. It’s a lot of fun to listen to. You get to hear some of the exploits that they’ve gotten into in New York. They also talk about their creative process.

Here’s the link: Variety Power Hour: Live from the Bus.

I personally had some troubles with the listening device that they have so I downloaded it to my computer. Please if the player doesn’t work download the file. You’ll have a bunch of fun while listening.

  1. Hey just saw your comment. And Yes I did see The Silent Theatre’s NOIR: A shot and a chaser. I very much enjoyed Noir. I think the reviews were a little over harsh on a lot of shows in the festival not just Noir. It is a fringe fest full of new works so not every play will be perfect (and none I saw were including mine) but I really enjoyed Noir. I thought they did a great job telling a story in a unique way that I had never seen done in a play before. So I thought it was great. I talked to one of the cast and she said that she wishes I hadn’t seen it on one of the matinees (the screen for the film stuff was hard to see) but I thought it was a great show and the Silent Theatre should be proud of it.
