Yesterday I talked about the Nano that I got for Christmas and my intents to stay motivated and get fit. When I realized that I could keep track of my runs and/or walks with my Nano and the Nike+ shoes and sports kit I decided to buy them. I actually purchased them online the day after Christmas. Well tonight my shoes were delivered! I wasn’t expecting them until the 3rd of January, but just a few minutes ago there was a knock at my door and when I opened it there was my shoes waiting for me. The unfortunate thing is that the sport kit was shipped separately. So I won’t be able to really kick off my journey. According to my tracking information I should get it on January 4th, but maybe if I’m lucky I’ll get it on Monday the 3rd.
So I tried on my new kicks, the picture is shown above. They are Nike+ LunarGlide 2. Unfortunately I had already worked out today and so I didn’t get a chance to give them a try, but I may take a 20 or 30 minute walk tomorrow and see how they feel. I put them on briefly and they feel lovely. I’m actually excited to see how they feel in a workout.
Now I know your dying to know what my totals were for my workout today so I’ll put those up.

I’ve also run the equivalent distance of to the Statue of Liberty and 22 stories up it! Here’s the postcard that I received on Nike+Active.
That’s my face in the Statue of Liberty, I took it with my webcam so it’s not the best. Don’t judge.
